Requirements

4+ years of experience in building server side applications with NodeJs, Go or Python
2+ years of experience in developing client side applications using ReactJS
Ability to write well formatted, structured and clean code that interacts with databases and UI clients
Care about observability, automated tests, and fast delivery
Curiosity in actively collaborating with product management and design, and a passion for solving meaningful problems
Excellent conceptual and analytical skills and a results-oriented mindset with a desire to collaborate with diverse teams, stakeholders and share knowledge
Understanding of data sharing and visibility considerations in platform architecture, which needs to support large data volume limitations and follow best practices
High initiative and intrinsic motivation for the further development of your own understanding of technical solutions
Fluency in the English language
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker/Kubernetes, or AWS deployment (plus)
Salesforce Development experience (plus)
Experience with Typescript (plus)

Responsibilities

Develop and perfect the architecture of our diverse multi org CRM Implementation, by contributing to discussions and decisions about architecture and development
Own the development cycle - from software design, implementation, and testing to deployment, maintenance, and operation of the products we offer to our internal Builders
Foster sound development practices and ensure a high quality delivery of solutions
Constantly strive to optimise our systems and motivate the team to do likewise
Design, develop and deploy microservices for our Kubernetes production environment, in collaboration with other engineers, and direct interaction with users
Contribute to discussions and be actively involved in the decision making of our architecture and development
Design, build, enhance, and maintain existing and new force.com applications that will be used across Zalando in various business functions
Challenge our status quo and help us define best practices for how we work
