Ability to perform operations using units of American currency and weight measurement, volume, and distance
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions
Ability to complete duties with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables

Responsibilities

Load and unload product to and from delivery vehicles and designated storage areas within the warehouse
Read production schedule, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence (e.g., size, type, style, color, or product code)
Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas
Use equipment such as an RF Gun to find and pick products for orders
Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to process orders (outbound/inbound), restock facility, follow inventory guidelines, and perform other tasks
Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items accurately and timely
Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or convey orders to packing station or shipping department
Mark materials with identifying information
Open bales, crates, and other containers
Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed
Weigh or count items for distribution to ensure conformance to company standards
Arrange stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers
Inspect products for defects prior to packing for shipping
Unload trucks and place materials in proper location in the warehouse
Enter and maintain inventory records in the computer
Prepare parcels for mailing
Clean warehouse area and perform routine housekeeping
Other duties as required and assigned
