Requirements

  • Ability to work flexible shifts including 1st (6:00 AM-4:30 PM or 7:00 AM-3:30 PM), 2nd (12:00 PM-10:30 PM or 4:00 PM-12:30 AM), and 3rd (8:00 PM-6:30 AM), with varying days off based on site needs

Responsibilities

  • Verification of CCPs & CQPs: Conduct inspections at RTH production to ensure Food Safety & Quality requirements are met & recorded; verify accuracy of ingredients against culinary recipe; verify cook & chill temperature limits; ensure post-lethality exposed product is properly stored; conduct finished product inspections; verify chemical titration; ensure labeling accuracy; conduct on-line checks (e.g., Metal Detection, Oxygen Analysis, pH, seal integrity); escalate deviations and assist with product disposition
  • Conducting Audits of Production Areas & Pre-requisite programs: Conduct continuous GMP inspections & corrections with documentation; inspect equipment & processing areas for sanitation compliance; conduct environmental monitoring sampling; enforce Food Defense protocol; perform other internal audits as needed
  • Training: Assist in training new employees on Food Safety & Quality practices
  • Issue Escalation: Notify leadership promptly of Food Safety & Quality issues or HACCP/HACQP deviations; place product on FSQA hold and assist with dispositions
  • Assisting in Production/Sanitation/Safety duties: Assist in non-competitive functions (e.g., sweeping floors, moving product, safety investigations)
  • General Responsibilities: Follow facility GMPs and enforce them; support SQF food safety system and quality programs
  • Ensures Food Safety and quality of all product labeled, portioned, cooked, MAP, packaged, and shipped by conducting on-the-line checks against recipe specifications and quality standards
