High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Minimum of 1 year of experience in food manufacturing or poultry processing or other QA type experience preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Skills to complete Tyson paperwork
Ability to lead by example and motivate the hourly workforce
Good problem identification and problem-solving skills
Math and organizational skills
Ability to read and interpret product specifications
Ability to function well under stress
Flexibility to work where and when needed
Ability to perform heavy lifting (70 lbs. or more)
Must reside in the United States (no sponsorship offered)

Responsibilities

Performing physical and visual inspections of product and plant systems
Documenting and calculating results accurately
Taking corrective action when necessary (alert appropriate personnel to adjust process; identify, segregate, & isolate non-conforming product)
Reporting results to management
Any additional assignments requested
Responsible for safety, including personal safety and food safety
