Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in food manufacturing or poultry processing or other QA type experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Skills to complete Tyson paperwork
  • Ability to lead by example and motivate the hourly workforce

Responsibilities

  • Performing physical and visual inspections of product and plant systems
  • Documenting and calculating results accurately
  • Taking corrective action when necessary (alert appropriate personnel to adjust process; identify, segregate, & isolate non-conforming product)
  • Reporting results to management
  • Any additional assignments requested
  • Responsible for safety, including personal safety and food safety
