Requirements

  • Ability to work 3rd shift schedule with days off on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday
  • Experience in food safety, quality assurance, and sanitation (implied by supervisory role in FSQA)
  • Supervisory skills for assigning responsibilities, training, coaching, and performance management
  • Knowledge of GMP audits, metal detection verification, environmental monitoring, lab equipment calibrations, chemical titrations, pre-shipment reviews, hold management, and pre-operational inspections
  • Ability to conduct record verifications for receiving, pre-operational, cook & chill, metal detection, and pre-shipment release
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with production management, team leads, associates, maintenance, and FSQA leadership
  • Proactive approach to metric reporting, issue documentation, and improvement planning

Responsibilities

  • Assign daily and weekly responsibilities for RTH FSQA Techs and Sanitors, ensuring appropriate resources
  • Assist FSQA RTH Superintendent with development of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual schedules
  • Create FSQA Supervisor Recap, document issues, and work with FSQA RTH Superintendent for resolution
  • Monitor shift metric reporting, understand report outs, and develop plans for improvement
  • Oversee RTH FSQA functions for all process steps, working closely with production to monitor and resolve issues
  • Support communications with Production Management on processes not meeting standards and collaborate with necessary parties to resolve issues
  • Conduct GMP audits, notify production management of violations, and work with Production to resolve issues
  • Perform daily, weekly, and/or monthly tasks assigned by FSQA Superintendent/Leadership (e.g., GMP Audits, Metal Detection Verification, Environmental Monitoring Swabbing, Lab Equipment Calibrations, Chemical Titrations, Pre-Shipment Review, Hold Management, Start of Line and Pre-Operational Inspections)
  • Hold team members and cross-functional partners accountable to Home Chef’s food safety expectations
  • Perform Food Safety record verifications (e.g., receiving, pre-operational, cook & chill, metal detection, Pre-Shipment Release)
  • Work with FSQA Leadership to resolve food and non-food procurement quality issues (e.g., produce quality, portioning quantity, missing ingredients)
  • Escalate decisions to FSQA leadership as needed
  • Oversee training programming and hold accountable for delivering training to new RTH FSQA techs and sanitation associates
  • Train, coach, and empower Tempo Quality Techs and Sanitation associates
  • Responsible for performance review and corrective action meetings for Tempo Quality Tech and sanitation associates with FSQA Superintendent
  • Assist in training of new employees on Food Safety & Quality and Sanitation
