Requirements

  • Ability to work 3rd shift schedule (9:30 PM to 6:30 AM) with days off on Saturday & Sunday
  • Supervisory experience in food safety, quality assurance, or related field (implied by role responsibilities)

Responsibilities

  • Assign daily and weekly responsibilities for RTH FSQA Techs and Sanitors, ensuring appropriate resources to cover all activities
  • Assist FSQA RTH Superintendent with development of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual schedules
  • Create FSQA Supervisor Recap; document issues and work with FSQA RTH Superintendent for resolution
  • Be aware and proactive on shift metric reporting, understanding report outs and working on plans for improvement
  • Oversee RTH FSQA functions for all process steps while working closely with production to monitor and resolve issues
  • Support communications with Production Management regarding processes that do not meet standards, and collaborate with necessary parties to resolve issues
  • Conduct GMP audits and notify production management of violations; work with Production to resolve issues
  • Perform daily, weekly, and/or monthly tasks as assigned by FSQA Superintendent and/or FSQA Leadership, including GMP Audits, Metal Detection Verification, Environmental Monitoring Swabbing, Lab Equipment Calibrations, Chemical Titrations, Pre-Shipment Review, Hold Management, and Start of Line and Pre-Operational Inspections
  • Hold team members and cross-functional partners accountable to Home Chef’s food safety expectations
  • Perform Food Safety record verifications including receiving, pre-operational, cook & chill, metal detection, and Pre-Shipment Release
  • Work with FSQA Leadership to resolve food and non-food procurement quality issues within the shift, such as produce quality, portioning quantity, and missing ingredients
  • Escalate decisions to FSQA leadership as needed
  • Oversee training programming, ensuring delivery of all components to new RTH FSQA techs and sanitation associates
  • Train, coach, and empower Tempo Quality Techs and Sanitation associates
  • Responsible for performance review and corrective action meetings for Tempo Quality Tech and sanitation associates with FSQA Superintendent
  • Assist in training of new employees on Food Safety
