5+ years experience working with Java and JavaScript frameworks for front-end development
Technical experience with Service oriented architecture
Experience utilizing and implementing DevOps capabilities and tools such as Git, GitHub, Junit, GitHub Actions
Knowledge & experience utilizing AWS capabilities such as EC2, Serverless, and Lambda
Experience with both web applications and backend services
Inherent curiosity towards new and emerging technologies
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Independent, results-driven work ethic
Comfort with and ability to navigate ambiguity

Experience in Financial Services Industry

Responsibilities
Provide technical expertise and development of front-end solutions, using front-end frameworks like Angular, for our internally facing policy administration application
Identify, design, and develop technical solutions to modernize legacy applications to meet ongoing business needs through digital transformation
Implement technical architecture, design, and delivery of technology solutions that enable us to meet business and customer demands
Identify, recommend, and implement engineering best practices including, but not limited to, code reviews, automated testing, and DevOps and CI/CD capabilities to create scalable, testable, maintainable solutions
Responsible for the technical health of applications within scope
Develop data integrations in alignment with our Enterprise Data Strategy and EBS Partner strategy
Provide mentoring and some work direction for both new and experienced Engineers
Work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions
Partner with business and IT teams across the enterprise to drive out solutions that best meet business objectives
Stay abreast of technology industry tools and best practices and provide thought leadership to identify how and where we should adopt new practices and/or tools, including driving to implement them across the market and enterprise
