  • Handles, moves, and displays goods safely; tracks goods, maintains in-stock levels, and controls shrinkage
  • Reports poor inventory practices, low in-stock levels, and unsafe forklift conditions
  • Uses inventory tools and equipment safely
  • Proactively assists customers with technology services

Responsibilities

  • Implement action plans using Open Door Policy for business processes
  • Safely pick up, move, place, and position merchandise pallets with forklift
  • Identify priorities, deadlines, expectations; carry out tasks, communicate progress, recommend improvements, and adapt to change
  • Receive, stock, organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers
  • Correct shelf capacities, handle inventory exceptions, complete paperwork, logs, and documentation
  • Acknowledge members, identify needs, provide guidance on self-service technology, assist with purchases, locate merchandise, resolve issues, promote products/services
  • Conduct safety sweeps, follow forklift spotting and hazardous materials procedures, adhere to steel standard guidelines, correct/report unsafe situations
  • Zone area, stock/rotate merchandise, remove damaged/out-of-date goods, set up/clean/organize displays, receive/sort/stage/deliver merchandise, ensure prominent promotional/seasonal displays, process defective merchandise, follow sanitation/food safety policies, monitor shrink/security/safety risks
  • Assist with picking/staging club pick up orders, ensure proper selection/staging within timeframe, perform accuracy audits
  • Track goods, maintain in-stock levels, control shrinkage timely; report poor practices/low levels
  • Operate/maintain forklifts safely; report unsafe conditions/practices or malfunctioning equipment to management
  • Identify customers needing tech help, engage/assist them, model tech services for others, identify/fix shrink opportunities/problems
  • Maintain equipment, organize/stock products correctly, fix problems promptly
  • Create culture of belonging, opportunities for associates to thrive, attract talent; work as a team, build trusting relationships
