Requirements

Candidates must be a native Arabic speaker with C1+ level English proficiency, possessing 1-3 years of experience in subtitling, translation, dubbing translation/dubbing script creation, quality control, or another integral part of the localization process. They should demonstrate a passion for their native language and culture, including expert knowledge of lingo, slang, cultural references, and sensitivities.

Responsibilities

As an Arabic Subtitler, the individual will be responsible for creating, editing, and delivering Arabic subtitles for MrBeast YouTube videos, ensuring linguistic accuracy, cultural appropriateness, and compliance with language rules. They will receive feedback from the Language Coordinator and implement revisions, meet tight deadlines, assist in creating localized metadata, maintain clear communication with collaborators, and build familiarity with the Beast brand. Additionally, they will coordinate localization tasks and potentially assist with auxiliary translating of materials.
