Requirements

A minimum of 5 years in supervisory management or multi-unit operations is required, along with prior leadership experience. Essential skills include strong oral and written communication, excellent organizational abilities, and the capacity to work independently. Candidates must be adept at building credibility and trust, developing and executing plans, using data for decision-making, problem-solving, and adapting to change. A thorough understanding of restaurant operations, sound business and financial acumen, consultation and strategic coaching skills, a compliance orientation, big-picture thinking, and innovation are also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Franchise Business Consultant will achieve operational and business performance goals for their portfolio of franchisees by facilitating annual planning and business reviews to assess performance and align on future goals. They will align priority areas with franchisees to drive sales, profitability, and network growth while ensuring a safe and consistent brand experience. Responsibilities include developing coaching plans, tracking and reviewing data to guide franchisee actions, interpreting data for coaching, following up on commitments, and supporting franchisees in understanding processes for remodeling and building new restaurants. The consultant will also facilitate communication between franchisees and cross-functional partners, participate in field marketing team updates, monitor and support local marketing plans, perform restaurant evaluations, and partner with the field training team to coordinate support. Additionally, they will ensure effective use of G&A expenses and complete administrative functions in a timely manner.
