Requirements

Candidates must possess a High School diploma or GED, with a Bachelor's degree preferred. A minimum of 5 years of experience in supervisory management or multi-unit district-level operations is required, along with prior leadership experience. Essential skills include strong oral and written communication, excellent organizational abilities, and the capacity to build credibility and trusting relationships. The role demands the ability to develop and execute plans, use data for decision-making, problem-solve collaboratively, and adapt to change. A thorough understanding of restaurant operations, sound business and financial acumen, consultation and strategic coaching skills, a compliance orientation, and a big-picture perspective are also necessary. Willingness to travel to consult with franchisees is required.

Responsibilities

The Franchise Business Consultant will manage an assigned portfolio of franchisees, collaborating with them to achieve or exceed goals in sales, profits, and network growth. This involves coaching and influencing franchisees to ensure consistent brand experience, same-store comp growth, and preparation for unit expansion. Key duties include facilitating annual planning and business reviews, tracking and interpreting data to guide franchisee actions, and supporting remodel and new store construction projects. The consultant will also facilitate communication between franchisees and cross-functional partners, participate in field marketing initiatives, perform restaurant evaluations, and coordinate training support. Ensuring effective use of G&A expenses and completing administrative tasks in a timely manner are also responsibilities.
