Responsibilities

  • Assemble and outfit next-gen UAVs from avionics to airframe, ensuring flight-ready, reliable, and testable systems
  • Organize workshop: manage tools, materials, prototyping equipment (e.g., 3D printers), and set up jigs/fixtures for integration and calibration
  • Run and support system qualification tests; document issues and provide feedback to engineering and product design
  • Challenge designs, suggest improvements to tools/processes, and collaborate with engineers to iterate faster
  • Handle special projects, such as testing new composite bonding methods or tuning flight controllers, leading where appropriate
