Requirements

Previous experience as a forklift driver, preferably in a busy manufacturing environment
Good organizational skills, with the ability to handle and work to tight deadlines
Hard working, a good team player with excellent communication skills and good attention to detail
Willingness to develop skills on an ongoing basis
Flexibility to work overtime as and when required

Responsibilities

Operate a Forklift to ensure a continuous supply of material into the Machine Shop area
Ensure that materials are loaded correctly and transported safely
Efficiently stack and store products in the appropriate areas
Ensure that all relevant paperwork is maintained and kept up to date
Carry out regular checks and maintenance of the Forklift
Work as part of a team to develop continuous improvement
Complete daily safety checks to ensure work area is tidy and free from hazards
Maintain compliance to all Health and Safety Regulations
