Requirements

High school degree (or equivalent degree) with 0-2 years of experience
Strong attention to detail and safety in a fast-paced environment
Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs multiple times during an 8-to-10-hour shift
Ability to push/pull/bend/twist multiple times, up to 2 to 4 hours continuously during an 8-to-10-hour shift
Standing/walking approximately 2 to 4 hours continuously during an 8-to-10-hour shift
Repetitive hand movement including gripping, grasping, and manipulation approximately 2 to 4 hours intermittently during an 8-to-10-hour shift
Ability to operate powered equipment (forklift, reach truck/cherry picker) and cross train in multiple areas
Ability to work in cold environment (35–46 degrees F) for approx. 2.5 hours continuously during an 8-to-10-hour shift
Wear sitewide PPE: steel toe shoes

Responsibilities

Receives and stores product, picks and packs product for shipment, and ships orders
Inspects materials for orders verifying accurate quantity, lot number, expiration dates, and product part number
Creates and/or ensures appropriate documentation is completed for orders
Reconciles inventory and may perform cycle counts and data entry functions as assigned
Operates powered industrial equipment such as power jacks, forklifts, cherry picker, and/or reach trucks
Identifies and solves routine problems in work area with management team
Assists management team on organizational improvement projects such as lean and quality initiatives
