Requirements

  • Successful completion of FPGEE and TOEFL exams
  • Completion of a US Internship (required hours to be completed within 18 months)
  • Preparation to complete and pass all required Pharmacist licensure exams and processes within 120-days of completing the US Internship
  • Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and best practices

Responsibilities

  • Contributing to safe and effective pharmacy operations
  • Following pharmacy workflow procedures at each workstation (production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off)
  • Ensuring accurate prescription fulfillment
  • Providing empathetic and caring service to patients (including immunizations and counseling)
  • Taking telephonic prescriptions and clarifying prescriptions with prescribers (where allowed by state regulation)
  • Maintaining self-awareness and contributing to a safe and inclusive culture
  • Assisting the pharmacy team to ensure smooth operations and patient health
  • Applying didactic learning from pharmacy school into real-world practice
