Requirements

  • Non-US Accredited Foreign Pharmacy Graduate
  • Successfully passed FPGEE and TOEFL
  • Eligible to complete required US Internship hours
  • Complete internship within 18 months
  • Prepared to pass all required Pharmacist licensure exams and processes within 120 days of internship completion
  • Work under direct supervision of a licensed Pharmacist
  • Full-time employment

Responsibilities

  • Ensure patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, inventory management, and workflow management (excluding final prescription verification)
  • Keep customers and patients healthy through adoption and management of patient care programs
  • Display empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues (Lead with Heart)
  • Support Pharmacy manager in motivating, inspiring, and developing Pharmacy Support Staff by balancing assignments
  • Identify critical business opportunities and solutions to drive growth and improve performance, leading team to achieve goals
  • Adapt to change and adjust plans in a dynamic community healthcare setting
  • Seek new ways to grow, collaborate, and deliver better outcomes
  • Align others around purpose to bring heart to every health moment and gain support
  • Facilitate a team culture promoting caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride
  • Apply acquired knowledge to drive healthy outcomes and differentiate CVS from competitors
  • Greet each customer courteously and professionally in-store and at drive-thru
  • Assist pharmacy and front store customers with questions and concerns
  • Answer telephone with a warm and friendly greeting
  • Request additional help and collaborate to maximize customer satisfaction
  • Remove obstacles to improve customers' experiences
  • Perform approved register transactions including cash, check, charge, and bagging merchandise
  • Engage with customers to create heartfelt, personalized moments
  • Maintain customer/patient confidentiality according to regulations
