Requirements

Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in Food Science or a related field
2+ years in a food manufacturing environment, preferably with ready-to-eat or toppings production
Strong understanding of HACCP, USDA, GMP, and SSOP’s; HACCP certification preferred
Basic computer skills for creating simple queries, spreadsheets, etc.; SAP knowledge advantageous
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual abilities a plus
Ability to supervise a small group of personnel with somewhat similar tasks

Responsibilities

Conduct audits and assist the FSQA manager in ensuring compliance with quality standards
Prepare the facility for GFSI and customer-specific audits
Investigate and address customer complaints, foreign material incidents, and environmental issues
Verify production paperwork and conduct production floor checks
Execute GMP and housekeeping audits
Oversee the annual reassessment of HACCP
Facilitate Team Member food safety training
Perform a variety of tasks requiring sound judgment, including prioritization, result evaluation, and effective collaboration with colleagues
Flexibility in work hours required, with coverage on other shifts as needed
Occasional weekend work may be assigned by the Manager
