Requirements

Candidates are required to possess a Bachelor’s degree in natural sciences or a business-focused field, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) manufacturing environment with leadership responsibilities. They must also hold HACCP certification and demonstrate strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and tools, as well as excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

The Food Room Manager will lead and execute the strategic vision and day-to-day operations of the Milwaukee Food Production Department, overseeing departmental safety improvements, managing shifts, ensuring employee training completion, directing all planned activities, coordinating lean manufacturing implementation, adhering to SOPs (GMP’s), coaching employee performance, leading monthly GMP inspections, establishing a functional area brand, working with the manufacturing manager, developing and maintaining Food Room KPIs, facilitating new product introductions, reviewing processes for improvement, utilizing production data, reporting food safety problems, and assuming Incident Command responsibilities.
