Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, medium/heavy duty truck technical training from a 2-year school, Annual Inspector Certification, Brake Inspector Certification, ASE Certification (Automotive or Medium/Heavy Duty), and 1 year experience with a 2-year technical degree or 3 years in fleet maintenance. A current and valid driver's license is required, with CDL-A preferred, along with working knowledge of computer-based diagnostic software.
Required certifications include Annual Inspector Certification, Brake Inspector Certification, and ASE Certification in Automotive or Medium/Heavy Duty.
Candidates need 1 year of experience with a 2-year technical degree or 3 years of experience in fleet maintenance and repair.
