Ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
Strong collaboration skills with Controlling Operations team in Bangalore and local finance teams
Direct reporting line to UK Financial Controller and management of 1 direct report (Financial Accountant)
Ability to work directly with internal and external stakeholders and advisers

Responsibilities

Support the Market Controller in preparation and coordination of Month-end-close (MEC) for management accounts, including variance analysis
Review monthly profit & loss, balance sheet, and related key balance sheet reconciliations
Monitor agreed Controlling activities to ensure delivery according to country regulatory reporting requirements and CN Global standard processes, policies, and controls (including US GAAP)
Prepare statutory financial statements under Local GAAP and any associated regulatory filings
Participate in the Local GAAP statutory audit process, including engaging with KPMG to secure process, timelines, and consistency
Manage and support any other external audit engagements
Oversee accuracy of month-end close under US GAAP and compliance with local GAAP for statutory and regulatory reporting
Participate in improvement programs and initiatives to enhance UK Market Controlling activities, whether in-country or offshore, ensuring high user adoption
