Requirements

  • MBA (preferred, not required)
  • 5+ years of experience
  • General understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
  • Experience in and knowledge of financial planning & analysis, including management and BOD reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and technical accounting, including consolidation & multi-currency accounting
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex financial transactions and strategies
  • Financial modeling knowledge/skills with strong analytical, qualitative, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and levels of the organization
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team player mentality
  • Ability to effectively communicate clear and concise ideas both verbally and in writing
  • Interest in process change and automation
  • Enjoys tackling complex problems with an ability to solve problems through actionable strategy
  • Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to exercise independence to achieve set goals
  • Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel (including build of financial models)
  • Strong background/understanding of NetSuite and Salesforce (highly preferred)
  • Familiarity with Generative AI tools such as ChatGPT for research, data insights, and general productivity (a plus)

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with budgeting and planning processes
  • Financial modeling
  • Providing business decision support
  • General support for KBRA’s financial management and internal/external reporting
  • Managing the design and execution of scalable and dynamic deliverables, processes, and systems that address key needs of internal and external stakeholders
  • Working closely with the Head of FP&A on core business activities and strategic initiatives
  • Assisting with the company operating model, budget/forecasting process, and multiple elements of the Company’s financial reporting to key internal and external stakeholders
  • Identifying financial trends and providing trend analysis
  • Developing deliverables for executive leadership
  • Understanding sources of change, highlighting variances to forecast & budget, risks & opportunities
  • Using insights to drive improvements for the operating model and long-range plans
  • Performing critical financial analysis/reporting that provides business leaders with an understanding of key performance drivers, costs, and returns of important investment initiatives
