As a Financial Analyst, FP&A at BlueCat, you will be responsible for managing key financial processes related to corporate reporting, cash flow management, and business partnering for the Corporate Services organization. This role is critical in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and ensuring that the Corporate Services division operates efficiently and aligns with the overall financial strategy of the organization. You will provide key financial insights and assess the financial impact of cost decisions. You will work closely with the Systems team to support maintenance and optimizations of the FP&A system to ensure the tool scales with the business, and provide back up support for cash flow forecasting. This role will also have exposure to M&A activities and other strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Support for Corporate Services: Serve as the primary finance business partner for the Corporate Services departments, providing financial guidance, forecasts, and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • KPIs & Metrics: Prepare detailed financial reports, dashboards and presentations for senior management and conduct variance analysis to compare actual results to budget and forecast, explaining key drivers of variances.
  • Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities to optimize expenses and improve efficiency. Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis & Reporting: Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting to support Corporate Services leadership on special projects, strategic initiatives, or critical business decisions.
  • Cash Flow Forecasting Support: Assist FP&A team in developing and maintaining cash flow forecasts, incorporating inflows from subscription revenue and outflows related to operating expenses, capital expenditures, and other financial obligations.
  • M&A Support: Participate in due diligence and post-merger integration activities as needed for acquisitions.
  • FP&A Systems Administration & Optimization: Serve as the administrator for FP&A systems (Pigment), ensuring system integrity, functionality, and data accuracy.
  • System Maintenance: Maintain and enhance FP&A system capabilities to support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modeling.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with vendors or IT teams to resolve technical problems.
  • User Management: Manage system user access, roles, and security settings, ensuring proper governance and compliance.
  • Data Integration: Work with IT and Data teams to ensure seamless data integration.
