Requirements

  • 3-4 years of experience in Finance / Controlling
  • Proven experience and knowledge of Polish accounting principles and controlling practices
  • Proficiency in English with strong communication skills
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset
  • Goal-oriented attitude with a strategic and analytical approach
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strategic mindset
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, ERP systems (SAP), and Anaplan

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a team of Finance Analysts & Business Controllers
  • Act as a business partner to senior leadership, providing financial guidance and risk assessment
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making
  • Manage month end closing and ensure quality control over financial reporting submission
  • Contribute to monthly forecast by working with functional teams to provide key inputs on sales, operating expenses and profitability
  • Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions (preparing Journal Entries)
  • Complete monthly and quarterly Balance Sheet reconciliation
  • Conduct variance analysis to compare actual financial results with budgets and forecasts
  • Present financial reports and insights to executive management
  • Prepare financial statements (Profit and Loss Statement, Customer Report) in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Provide reports for auditors during external and internal audits
  • Prepare and report the Yearly Budget
  • Ensure compliance with Polish accounting standards and regulations, and apply strong expertise in Polish controlling and financial reporting requirements
