Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements

Responsibilities

  • Assist with monthly close tasks such as variance explanations, flux analysis, and supporting documentation requests
  • Support month-end financial reporting preparation, including management reporting packages and KPI updates
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis of company performance and month-end financial results, comparing variances between actual and budgeted results
  • Assist in developing revenue and expense forecasts through trend analysis and discussions with senior management
  • Support the buildout and refinement of financial models used for forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning
  • Assist in annual budget preparation, including departmental budget templates and consolidation
  • Help maintain financial dashboards and improve reporting processes through automation or standardization
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, HR) to gather inputs for forecasts, budgets, and financial reviews
  • Contribute to special projects and ad hoc analysis, including cost-savings initiatives, ROI evaluations, and scenario modeling
