Responsibilities

Review and validate employee expense reports, business travel expenses, team events, and commitment of reimbursable costs, ensuring adherence to company policy and tax regulations
Manage the expense reimbursement cycle: receipt, verification of supporting documents, data entry into accounting systems (e.g., ERP, SAP Concur, Expensify), and preparation for payment
Act as primary point of contact for employees on travel and expense policy, providing guidance and resolving issues
Participate in continuous improvement of expense management processes, including documenting procedures and assisting with new system functionalities
Produce detailed monthly reports on expenses by department, cost nature (travel, accommodation, meals, etc.), and employee
Assist in analyzing variances between actual expenditures and budgets for travel and representation expenses
Collaborate on designing and maintaining visual dashboards (using Excel, Google Sheets, or BI tools) to monitor trends in travel and operating costs
Support monthly financial closing with account reconciliations (e.g., bank accounts, general ledger) for data accuracy
Contribute to preparation of supporting documentation for monthly closing files
Provide general assistance to the Controlling team on daily tasks for timely and accurate closing processes
