Candidates should possess at least 13 years of experience in a research-based role at a professional services or financial services firm, demonstrating excellence in prior endeavors. They must have strong quantitative and analytical research skills, including innovative thinking and creative problem-solving, and excellent communication skills, encompassing effective writing, collaboration with global teams, and stakeholder communication to meet deadlines. Experience in sourcing and evaluating financial market data, microeconomic financial data, financial instruments, and/or macroeconomic variables is preferred. A Bachelor’s or Bachelor’s degree in Economics or Finance is required.
The Research Analyst will conduct qualitative and quantitative research, including fact finding, financial analysis, competitive analysis, due diligence, macroeconomic analysis, and data sourcing across multiple industries. Tasks include data retrieval and analysis, collating company information, creating industry overviews, identifying financial market trends, and benchmarking macroeconomic trends. They will work closely with the deal teams throughout the deal process, supporting their on-going industry coverage efforts, and engaging with ad-hoc tasks and initiatives as needed.
