Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience in pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturing
  • Basic digital literacy (desktop software)
  • Must be able to lift 45lbs
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts (2-2-3 schedule) with additional overtime as the need arises
  • Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs)
  • Previous experience working in a Grade C environment with isolator equipment
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States (no sponsorship anticipated)

Responsibilities

  • Support start-up activities during project phase, including equipment setup, isolator filling, and procedure development
  • Become the expert in assigned area and educate team on proper operation of the facility
  • Lead training of new staff on isolator equipment
  • Ensure continuous supply of medicines by expertly running the process, troubleshooting, and collaborating cross-functionally
  • Coordinate daily activities to meet capacity plans while developing own and team's capabilities
  • Provide leadership on manufacturing floor ensuring high level of safety, quality, and productivity
  • Maintain a safe work environment, exemplify safe practices, and support HSE goals
  • Act as administrator and technical leader for operations
  • Set example through knowledge of procedures, compliance with quality systems, and teaching proper techniques
  • Serve as key resource for troubleshooting and primary point of contact for issue escalation
  • Administer technical training and ensure all operators are trained
  • Operate equipment and perform activities to meet production schedule
  • Assist in checking execution documentation (Electronic Batch Record, SAP, Cleaning Logs)
  • Drive departmental objectives including improving safety, reducing deviations, improving productivity, and training compliance
  • Support Site Leadership in building diverse and capable organization by delivering operational procedures, quality processes, and controls for isolator area
  • Assist Supervisor in development and performance evaluations of shift operators
  • Act as backup for Supervisor
  • Serve as key liaison between operations and support functions (Maintenance, Engineering, TS/MS, Quality)
