Field Service Technician (Entry Level) - San Diego, CA at Procter & Gamble Company

This is a field-based position in San Diego, CA, requiring candidates to live in the specified city, with approximately 30% of the day spent traveling by car between accounts.

Candidates need a basic understanding of electronics, plumbing, maintenance or mechanical systems with troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills, moderate knowledge of tools, and proficiency in laptop/cell phone technology including Salesforce, Microsoft Word, and Excel. A valid driver’s license is also required.

The schedule is a 5-day work week with 8 hours per day, but may include 12-hour shifts, occasional weekends, night shifts, and on-call coverage including holidays. It involves physical demands like lifting 50 lbs, climbing ladders/stairs, working in extreme temperatures, and uneven surfaces in warehouse conditions.

The ideal candidate has a great work ethic, willingness to learn new skills with provided training, and a basic understanding of electronics, plumbing, maintenance, or mechanical systems.
