Basic understanding in electronics, plumbing, maintenance, or mechanical systems with ability to troubleshoot using root cause analysis
Moderate working knowledge of appropriate tools, data, implements, and service needs
Proficient in laptop and cell phone technology, including Salesforce, Microsoft Word, and Excel
Valid driver’s license
Ability to live in specified city (San Diego, CA)
Physical abilities: Lift, lower, and carry objects up to 50 lbs; push and pull objects up to 50 lbs; climb vertical ladders and stairs; stand, sit, walk for long periods; twist, bend at knees, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, reach; work on concrete/asphalt surfaces; operate computer keyboard and phone; discern visual/audible alarms; operate motor vehicle safely in city/rural/expressway conditions (approx. 30% of day in car); work in extreme temperatures, dust, and dirt in warehouse conditions
Availability for 5-day work week/8 hours per day, which may include 12-hour shifts, occasional weekends, night shifts, and on-call coverage (including holidays)
Responsibilities
Work independently in the field to install chemical dispensing equipment and other equipment used in commercial foodservice or laundry operations
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment
Deliver exceptional service to ensure customer retention and superior customer service (not sales-focused)
