Requirements

University degree in engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience in electronic system problem solving
Approximately 3-5 years of hands-on technical experience installing, solving problems, repairing, and calibrating complex analysis tools such as TEM or similar systems
Experience in solving and repairing ultra-high vacuum and high voltage systems is highly desired

Responsibilities

Perform on-site installation, servicing, and repair of complex equipment and systems
Investigate and validate operational quality of system equipment
Provide training to customers on system operation and maintenance
Serve as the primary company liaison for administrative and technical matters related to assigned projects
Conduct scheduled maintenance visits and provide solving and repair support
Build strong working relationships with customers, system users, and company personnel
Travel, often on short notice, to customer sites to resolve issues or support other field service personnel
Complete and submit detailed field service reports
Provide feedback to product quality teams and supply to improving system documentation
Act as an authority and resource for training
