Requirements

  • University degree in engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience in electronic system problem solving
  • Approximately 3-5 years of hands-on technical experience installing, solving problems, repairing, and calibrating complex analysis tools such as TEM or similar systems
  • Experience in solving and repairing ultra-high vacuum and high voltage systems is highly desired

Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site installation, servicing, and repair of complex equipment and systems
  • Investigate and validate operational quality of system equipment
  • Provide training to customers on system operation and maintenance
  • Serve as the primary company liaison for administrative and technical matters related to assigned projects
  • Conduct scheduled maintenance visits and provide solving and repair support
  • Build strong working relationships with customers, system users, and company personnel
  • Travel, often on short notice, to customer sites to resolve issues or support other field service personnel
  • Complete and submit detailed field service reports
  • Provide feedback to product quality teams and supply to improving system documentation
  • Act as an authority and resource for training
