Requirements

  • Field-based position in the San Francisco territory (covering locations such as Napa, Sacramento, San Francisco, San Jose, Santa Rosa, South San Francisco, California)
  • Ability to invest up to 50% of time on-site with healthcare providers (HCPs) and office staff
  • Expertise in reimbursement processes, claims submissions, procedures, and coding requirements for payer organizations (local payers, government payers, etc.)
  • Knowledge of national, regional, local, and account market dynamics
  • Ability to manage territory logistics, routing, and account business planning

Responsibilities

  • Educate HCPs and office staff on reimbursement processes, claims submissions, procedures, and coding requirements for core and launch Oncology products
  • Collaborate with field support team members (e.g., sales representatives, key account managers) as the reimbursement expert
  • Act with urgency to address critical access and affordability issues for patients
  • Partner with managed care colleagues to understand current policies and potential future changes
  • Conduct field-based reimbursement and access support, education, and creative problem-solving aligned to FRM Rules of Engagement
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with customers in assigned Oncology accounts
  • Assess education needs of HCPs and facilitate collaboration with stakeholders
  • Serve as primary field-based lead for education, assistance, and issue resolution regarding patient access to J&J Oncology therapies
  • Maintain and grow knowledge of market dynamics
