Must be able to obtain Transportation Worker (TWIC) clearance (if required, within first 45 days of employment)
Able to read, write, and understand the English language, and able to follow verbal and written instructions
Ability to work a rotating shift, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays; “On-Call” based on rotating schedule for Emergency Response
May require out-of-town travel
Ability to work under adverse conditions (heat & cold)
Physically able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary and lift >50lbs routinely

Responsibilities
Ensure scheduled and Emergency Response Calls are answered in a timely manner
Perform clean ups, spills, COVID and Hazmat Decon work, and other duties delegated by management within the scope of work
Perform work under the direct guidance of a Supervisor or Foreman involving the remediation of cleanup regarding hazardous waste and materials
Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and always acting in a safe manner
Daily work involving confined space entry such as manholes, tank cleaning, oil spill cleanup, drum handling, decontamination, sweeping and shoveling, high pressure washing, and various other remedial activities
