Responsibilities

Coordinating routine maintenance and addressing repairs for building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural components to ensure they are functioning properly
Planning and optimizing the use of space within the facility, including office layouts, meeting rooms, and common areas, to meet the needs of the organization and its employees
Ensuring the facility complies with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards, including conducting regular inspections and audits, and implementing safety protocols and emergency response plans
Coordinating with external vendors and contractors for services such as cleaning, landscaping, security, and specialized maintenance, including negotiating contracts, managing budgets, and overseeing the quality of work
Implementing and promoting sustainable practices within the facility, such as energy efficiency measures, waste reduction programs, and environmentally friendly building materials and technologies
Keeping track of facility-related assets, including equipment, furniture, and supplies, including maintaining inventory records, scheduling preventative maintenance, and managing asset lifecycles
Developing and managing the facilities budget, including forecasting expenses, tracking expenditures, and identifying cost-saving opportunities
Providing support and assistance to employees and other facility users, addressing their needs and concerns related to the physical work environment
