Responsibilities

  • Leads and manages high-level projects related to facilities, hubs, and real estate property, including developing project plans (objectives, scopes, budgets, resources, timelines) and coordinating with teams for successful execution
  • Manages teams for facility projects, overseeing day-to-day activities (maintenance, housekeeping), ensuring coordination, setting performance goals, and implementing strategies for effectiveness and cost-efficiency
  • Acts as primary point of contact between CGS Carelon Global Solutions and stakeholders for improvement projects, monitoring progress, addressing issues, collaborating with internal teams, contractors, architects, and vendors for quality, timeliness, safety, compliance, and communication
  • Provides regular updates to stakeholders, addresses concerns, incorporates feedback, and collaborates with CGS staff and Leadership Team on maintenance projects and emergency situations emphasizing operations and safety
  • Oversees capital improvement, infrastructure upgrade, and renovation projects, including identifying improvements, conducting feasibility studies, developing budgets, managing contractors, ensuring timely completion within budget, compliance with codes/regulations, evaluating specifications, coordinating with engineering/construction teams, monitoring progress, conducting site inspections, and aligning with plans/standards
  • Supervises the Facilities & Real Estate Project Manager and 3rd party vendors, including delegating tasks, scheduling shifts, developing/implementing staff workplans, providing 1-on-1s, check-ins, team meetings, and performance reviews; supervises vendors with training, performance monitoring, and emphasis on safety/emergency procedures
  • Participates in Senior Leadership Meetings as a content expert
  • Communicates project progress with Facilities leadership and staff (e.g., All-Staff meetings)
  • Creates and develops business cases and proposals for Facilities-related strategic projects under Director guidance and presents results to Senior Leadership for review, prioritization, modifications, and approval
  • Conducts record keeping for drawings, critical engineering, construction documentation, financial documentation, project communication updates, or similar
