Requirements

  • Extensive Knowledge of Cross-Team Integration (involves key stakeholders in planning, enlists networks for collaboration, generates win-win strategies, encourages teamwork across functions, coaches on teamwork methods, recommends collaboration systems)
  • Working Knowledge of Data Gathering & Analysis (reports data collection problems, participates in gathering/analyzing data, follows processes/policies, uses basic tools/techniques, documents data from various sources)
  • Working Knowledge of Manufacturing Application Systems (uses/maintains data in applications, documents interfaces/dependencies, follows maintenance procedures, uses basic features, works with specific manufacturing applications)
  • Working Knowledge of Manufacturing Equipment (performs routine maintenance, basic care/safety, participates in setup/testing new machines, uses standard diagnostics)

Responsibilities

  • Leading and managing the Facility and Maintenance team in a heavy manufacturing plant or site
  • Leading the team and collaborating with stakeholders, engineers, partners, and suppliers to meet business goals in accordance with sustainable use of facilities and budget demands
  • Constructing an efficient facility maintenance team and guiding training sessions to ensure quality performance
  • Evaluating the operation's effectiveness with current utilities and equipment; providing appropriate solutions to challenges and risks
  • Overseeing inspections, repairs, and updates of facilities and relevant operational activities; maintaining order at the facility
  • Proactive and strategic thinking: leading the installation of new machines and equipment and process changes to provide the most efficient and economical manufacturing
