Responsibilities
Work safely and maintain a safe, clean work environment
Follow all safety JSAs, LOTO, policies, OPLs, and procedures
Inspect equipment prior to use, make simple adjustments, and shut down the spin weld machine and fabrication saw as required
Read, operate, and understand all controls and warning devices
Cut riser pipe and spin weld caps and fittings on riser pipe
Keep piece count and perform detailed and accurate record-keeping on the computer system or on paper
Perform regular quality checks such as impact testing, pressure testing, length of pipe testing, and other quality control standards and specifications
Clear plastic from the end of pipe after cutting, ensure pipe is free from chips and cracks
Inspect pipe before and after spin weld process and check pieces before adding to finished inventory
Keep count and package finished pipe according to instructions
Perform all other duties as assigned by management
