- Related professional bachelor's degree or above preferred
- 3+ years of game audio work experience; experience on influential game projects (market response or industry reputation) preferred (can provide developer list screenshot as proof)
- Certain theoretical knowledge and practical experience in recording (voice recording, field recording, foley recording, or music recording), post-production, and mixing; proficient in Pro Tools and Soundminer
- Music creation or production experience; mastery of basic music theory; instrumental performance ability preferred
- Comprehensive understanding and proficiency in Wwise, official certification preferred; certain knowledge of other commercial game audio middleware
- Familiar with basic operations of Unreal and Unity, understanding of their data workflows and basic processes
- Proficient in Office
- Knowledge of hardware performance characteristics of different game platforms; TV/Console game development experience preferred
- Ability to quickly create soundtracks for short videos based on given design directions
- Good interpersonal communication skills and written expression ability; fluent spoken English and standard written English preferred
- Good team collaboration ability and habit of technical sharing
- Certain understanding of divisions and workflows in the entertainment industry (games, movies, TV, music, media, etc.)
- Passion for games
Responsibilities
- Audio creative, data production, audio function design and implementation for cross-platform game projects, and final overall game audio quality
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure audio delivery quality at each project development milestone
- Follow, develop, and implement the art style and design direction established by the audio design director and project audio lead
