Requirements

Candidates should possess the ability to push, pull, lift, or move a minimum of 50 pounds, and be capable of sitting, standing, kneeling, bending, or squatting for extended periods of time, along with the ability to use hands and fingers to touch, handle, feel, and pick objects. Applicants must also be comfortable working with hazardous chemicals such as butane and propane, following strict safety guidelines, and utilizing chemicals like bleach to maintain the facility and equipment while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment including clothing protection, close-toed non-slip shoes, and optional ear/eye protection.

Responsibilities

The Extraction Material Handler will accurately fill extraction equipment with cannabis products according to regulations to support the efficient operation of the Extraction team, and assist with packaging manufactured products (concentrates, etc.). They will also verify that working areas, tools, and equipment are maintained in good order, ensure packaging, labeling, and data reporting activities are performed correctly, and adhere to daily packaging schedules to meet efficiency goals, all while working in an environment with plant matter, pollen, and dust, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace.
