Requirements

  • Ability to prepare and execute budgets, including developing cost estimates, approving purchases, providing technical assistance, and verifying receipts
  • Ability to manage internal scheduled projects, including prioritizing work, planning assignments, maintaining workforce needs, creating punch lists, and approving material requisitions
  • Knowledge of capital expenditures, scopes of work for assets like landscaping, snow events, case cleaning, and shopping cart PM service on seasonal schedules
  • Compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations, Walmart Exterior Service guidance, safety policies, and environmental guidelines
  • Ability to control costs through price comparisons, warranty claims, and related evaluations
  • Ability to complete and submit required paperwork, such as expense vouchers, weekly summaries, and work orders
  • Leadership skills to lead third-party providers, including fostering growth, coaching, performance evaluations, and quality assurance inspections
  • Troubleshooting and customer service skills, including communicating with facility users, resolving problems, and ensuring a clean, safe, healthy environment
  • Ability to evaluate replacement needs (e.g., mulch, rock, trees, shrubs, sod), implement upgrades for sustainability, explore cost-lowering improvements, and coordinate with Home Office
  • Coordination and oversight of job-related activities, relationship-building with stakeholders, goal-setting, and promoting continuous learning

Responsibilities

  • Gather capital expenditures lists and develop scopes of work for facility assets, including landscaping, snow removal, case cleaning, and shopping cart PM on seasonal schedules
  • Provide technical assistance and consultation for purchases of parts, materials, equipment, and supplies
  • Ensure completion of projects, assignments, and punch lists while sourcing and verifying materials
  • Identify and address other issues related to regular exterior services
  • Conduct price comparisons for parts, equipment, travel costs, and submit warranty claims
  • Complete forms like expense vouchers, weekly summaries, work orders, and submit to Regional Manager and Home Office
  • Lead third-party providers through coaching, performance evaluations, and quality assurance
  • Communicate with facility users to meet event needs, assess and resolve complaints, and maintain a safe work environment
  • Coordinate equipment standardization, reduce on-hand stock, and source tools for repairs, ensuring quality and safety
  • Develop, communicate, and implement processes; collaborate with stakeholders; monitor progress; ensure compliance with policies, ethics, and standards
  • Lead and participate in teams, share resources, coordinate assignments, provide feedback, and adapt to changes
  • Demonstrate respect for individuals, drive positive experiences, and embrace diversity
