Candidates should possess an Engineering degree, preferably in Transportation or Civil Engineering, and have several years of experience in transportation engineering and planning. Strong technical skills, including the ability to prepare conceptual designs, plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E), are required, along with experience in conducting field work and coordinating with various teams. Familiarity with best practices established by organizations like NACTO is also desired.
As an Experienced Transportation/Civil Engineer, you will lead the evaluation and selection of transportation system solutions, generate conceptual designs and construction documents, collaborate with staff and clients, conduct field work, coordinate with complete streets engineering and planning teams, engage with communities, and oversee project management, including task assignment and technical staff management. You will also be responsible for preparing PS&E, developing scopes of work, managing client interaction, marketing and securing new projects, and mentoring colleagues while embracing diversity and delivering innovative design solutions.
