Field claims experience with multi-line property and casualty claims and wind/hail
Proficiency with Xactimate software
Above average communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to resolve complex issues
Ability to organize and interpret data
Ability to handle multiple assignments
Valid driver’s license
Frequent travel (up to 21 days at a time) to catastrophe locations, often out of state, upon short notice
Ability to meet physical demands including carrying and climbing a ladder

Investigate and assemble facts to determine policy coverage
Evaluate the amount of loss and analyze legal liability
Pay or deny losses
Be familiar with insurance coverage by studying insurance policies, endorsements, and forms
Work towards the resolution of claims, potentially attending arbitrations, mediations, depositions, or trials
Ensure that claims payments are issued in a timely and accurate manner
