Requirements

  • Expertise in clinical planning within oncology therapeutic area
  • Knowledge of diverse portfolio including small molecules, biologics, and cell/gene therapy for global clinical trials
  • Experience leading end-to-end clinical supply chain from protocol design through manufacturing, distribution, and inventory management
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Development Operations, Clinical Operations, Process Development and Manufacturing (PDM), and other enterprise functions
  • Leadership skills to inspire, motivate, and manage teams, including recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning
  • Capability to lead large complex projects and represent GCSC in cross-functional initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Lead clinical planning function within assigned therapeutic area (TA) as an end-to-end leader, inspiring and motivating teams while developing overall strategy for GCSC
  • Provide subject matter expertise on development programs and therapeutic modalities
  • Establish strategies to ensure uninterrupted clinical supply for development portfolio, including all phases of clinical programs and managed access programs
  • Lead, develop, and manage team, including recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning
  • Drive excellence, set clear goals aligned with department and enterprise objectives, and ensure consistent delivery
  • Develop and maintain a culture of continuous improvement, mobilizing teams to identify and implement best practices cross-functionally with PDM and enterprise
  • Perform sponsor roles as requested
  • Champion clinical demand and operation planning (CD&OP), interfacing with Clinical Operations and PDM sub-teams
  • Manage across enterprise functions and partners to ensure on-time, in-full delivery of investigational medicinal product (IMP)
  • Ensure efficient and robust resource allocation for PDM sub-teams and clinical study teams
  • Partner across PDM functions and other enterprise areas
