Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English or a related field
  • At least three (3) years of proven event planning expertise from ideation and strategic planning to flawless execution of events
  • Excellent stakeholder relationship management abilities both internal and external
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage shifting priorities, working independently as well as in a team
  • Adapt to an ever changing environment in the event planning sphere
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Amenable to work in the day shift (9am-6pm)

Responsibilities

  • Day to day planning of flagship events, conferences, seminars/briefings and round tables
  • Responsible for logistics management as well as post event re-caps with stakeholders
  • Take part in the strategic planning of events together with the Marketing team and ensure these are in line with the overall business strategy
  • Support planning and execution of major events including but not limited to master site planning and execution, venue and facility management, vendor management, production, budgeting, and logistical planning and execution
  • Provide administrative support including meeting scheduling and managing follow ups
  • Assist with budget, invoice, billing and contract tracking/management for events
  • Conduct research on venues, vendors, logistics and technology, as needed
