Requirements

Proficiency in Spark (Batch & Streaming), Python programming, and data pipeline orchestration with Airflow is required. Experience with AWS Data Stack (DynamoDB, S3, Lambda, EMR, MSK, Glue, Athena, Lake Formation, RDS), data lake/lakehouse concepts (iceberg/delta), data architecture, and software engineering best practices including automated testing and CI/CD is essential. Strong collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills, along with a willingness to learn, are also necessary.

Responsibilities

Develop data platforms for diverse batch and real-time data sources, including APIs for data access and consumption. Disseminate knowledge on best practices for data usage such as data contracts, federated governance, and platform engineering. Ensure architecture meets technical requirements by collaborating with IT teams (Architecture, Security, Infrastructure) and business areas. Drive problem-solving with autonomy and initiative. Ensure squad deliveries align with agreed-upon projects with client areas. Interact with business units, third parties, and vendors to ensure optimal data and architecture implementation. Participate in data-driven discussions to support important decisions. Interface with technology and product teams to define best practices for data storage and consumption, and to suggest, test, and monitor new technologies.
