Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field
  • Knowledge and experience in the printing or manufacturing industry
  • Proficiency in computer operations including transferring data, MS Excel, Outlook, and file management
  • Mechanically inclined with ability to accurately read measurements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Skills in handling fanfold and rolled materials, performing roll splicing using manual equipment, and operating computerized digital inkjet equipment
  • Computer literacy in vision systems and file manipulation
  • Quality orientation with 100% accountability for finished product
  • GMP expertise with extensive documentation requirements
  • Ability to cross-train and operate multiple pieces of equipment
  • Physical ability to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, stand for full shift, move about including reaching, bending, stooping, grasping
  • Ability to work in environmental conditions: loud noises, strong odors, hazardous/toxic materials, various weather, warehouse, with PPE (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs, etc.)
  • Understanding of chemical hygiene

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate solid understanding of label manufacturing process for wide array of label constructions using automated and non-automated inkjet equipment, following client-approved proofs and documents to manufacture labels per specifications
  • Set up computerization production runs using proprietary software CLPS per SOPs and WIs
  • Monitor label production processing for accuracy and completeness
  • Apply current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) in all areas of responsibility safely and efficiently
  • Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Use hand tools and equipment
