Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field
  • Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
  • Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards
  • Printing or manufacturing experience with proficiency in computer operations (transferring data, MS Excel, Outlook, file management)
  • Mechanically inclined with ability to accurately read measurements, troubleshoot issues, identify solutions for label constructions, perform roll splicing using manual equipment, and operate computerized digital inkjet equipment
  • Detail-oriented and able to work in an organized manner
  • Capable of handling confidential information and communicating professionally with internal customers
  • Physical ability to stand for full shift, work with hazardous/toxic materials, at heights, in loud noises, strong odors, various weather conditions, and warehouse environment
  • Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs, etc
  • Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture a wide array of label constructions using automated inkjet equipment following client-approved proofs and associated documentation to meet established specifications
  • Set up computerization production runs and bulk transfer labels using proprietary software application CLPS, per department Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs)
  • Monitor all label production processing for accuracy and completeness, applying current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) safely and efficiently
  • Work independently in planning, setting up, and manufacturing label constructions that meet client specifications
  • Maintain all equipment in area of responsibility per standard procedures and safety guidelines, including current preventative maintenance practices and daily cleaning
