Requirements

  • Knowledge acquired through experience, specialized education, or training
  • Ability to work in hot, humid, and hazardous areas
  • Pass initial and subsequent medical surveillance (total blood cell counts, pulmonary functional test, Chest X-rays)
  • Wear respiratory protection (SCBA)
  • Good understanding of work routines and procedures in own discipline
  • Meet internal policies and external standards (ISO 11135)
  • Minimum of 2 or more years’ experience handling computer platforms
  • Flexibility for shift rotation (Day/night)

Responsibilities

  • Prepare product for processing in cold storage
  • Remove positive indicator according to customer batches
  • Assist the technician with process monitoring
  • Remove product after processing and place it for aeration; deliver to warehouse once complete
  • Review material and notify supervisor of any anomalies
  • Store product using a forklift in designated areas
  • Enter data into SAP
  • Notify Operations and Quality Supervisor of damaged product quantity before cold storage
  • Inspect product stacks before moving to subsequent processes
  • Maintain order and cleanliness of plant and forklifts (6S)
  • Sample processed product and coordinate sample delivery to laboratory
  • Move product safely and without damage at each stage
  • Perform general forklift inspection at shift beginning
  • Clean dirty areas immediately after process
  • Support all assigned activities
  • Place and remove IBs from product
  • Set up and clean ETO tank area
  • Actively participate in EH&S activities
  • Support activities requested by Operations and Management Supervisor
  • Participate as staff trainer or in monthly training sessions
  • Coordinate reception of Ethylene Oxide tanks with technician
  • Coordinate maneuvering support for external personnel
  • Schedule process times and activities with Supervisor at shift beginning
  • Change forklift batteries
  • Receive product for processing per customer documents (periodic)
  • Deliver processed product to customer, verifying identification, batch, quantity, and condition (sporadic)
  • Participate in physical inventory of customer product (sporadic)
  • Recondition damaged product (sporadic)
  • Support semiannual physical inventory (sporadic)
  • Participate in plant painting and maintenance (sporadic)
  • Service forklifts (sporadic)
