Requirements

  • Currently studying for an Undergraduate Degree preferably in Environmental Science, Mathematics, Finance, Physical Sciences, or Computer Science
  • Must be in 2nd year of study (England) or 3rd year of study (Scotland) and seeking to complete a year in industry in partnership with your university
  • The role must be suitable for your placement year

Responsibilities

  • Contributing to internal and external environmental reporting, including carbon emissions, sustainable sourcing, and sustainable packaging
  • Help deliver internal quarterly performance scorecards for the Executive Team and the CEO, as well as external disclosures including the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP)
  • Support the development and maintenance of sustainability dashboards that help stakeholders in Haleon understand the results using PowerBI and Microsoft Sustainability Manager
  • Assist in researching and contribute to developing new sustainability metrics and methodologies to align with evolving regulations (e.g. CSRD) and industry standards
  • Managing routine data quality checks and data analysis, and identifying drivers of change
  • Supporting responses to queries for external assurance
  • Supporting the sustainability data improvement program to improve data quality and ensure compliance with sustainability reporting standards
  • Working with colleagues across Quality & Supply Chain, Procurement, and Finance to obtain data and to improve data and evidence for external reporting and assurance
