Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, and have 1-3 years of experience in sales, lead generation, or business development, specifically within the cloud native, cybersecurity, or devops industry. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required, along with proficiency in using CRM systems, such as HubSpot CRM or Salesforce, and other sales enablement tools. Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills are also necessary, as well as being self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
The Enterprise Business Development Representative will be responsible for prospecting and identifying potential clients in the security sales market through various lead generation techniques, including cold calling, emailing, social media outreach, and attending industry events. They will conduct thorough research on prospects to understand their security needs, generate a consistent pipeline of high-quality leads by meeting or exceeding targets, qualify leads based on business requirements, schedule meetings and product demos for the sales team, collaborate with the sales team on targeted strategies, maintain accurate records in the CRM system, stay current on industry trends, and provide feedback to marketing and product teams.
