Requirements

  • Native-level fluency in English (written and verbal)
  • Deep understanding of local cultural and linguistic nuances (e.g., slang, tone, context) for English-speaking markets
  • Must currently reside in the Tokyo area and be able to work on-site at the office
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Japan. (Tourist visas will not be considered, and we will not sponsor any types of visas.)
  • Basic working proficiency with standard PC software
  • Comfortable and effective working in a multicultural team environment

Responsibilities

  • Verify the linguistic accuracy and quality of in-game English text while playing video games
  • Identify and report linguistic bugs (such as grammatical errors or unnatural expressions) using our bug tracking system
  • Execute re-tests on fixes to ensure issues are properly resolved
  • Provide feedback to improve game quality and user experience
